Dont know what it is about these. Maybe the unexpectedness of the chosen subject and the juxtaposition or maybe just the style alone; the closeness between the work and reality. The attention to detail is really well executed and almost photo like. Such random imagery but instantly striking.

Luke Chueh | I Love You

I love Chueh's style and technique. I love the juxtaposition of his subjects and their actions. He takes these 'cute' , innocently associated characters, into dark and sometimes disturbing or sisnister situations. His work can sometimes be political but i think he utlises subtle humour rather than anger.

But! More than anything, i just love his character design and painting style and the quality of it.
